Performance & XMP 2.0

The AX4U320016G16A-CBKD45 runs at DDR4-3200 with CL16-20-20 timings, non-ECC, at 1.2V–1.4V operating voltage range — with the DDR4-3200 XMP profile operating at 1.35V. Intel XMP 2.0 makes overclocking a snap and enhances system stability, allowing rated speed to be enabled without manually adjusting individual BIOS parameters. Without XMP enabled the module defaults to JEDEC base speed.

XMP must be enabled for rated speed: Without activating XMP 2.0 in BIOS (or DOCP/EXPO on AMD), this module defaults to JEDEC speed — typically DDR4-2666 or lower. Enable XMP to unlock DDR4-3200 at CL16-20-20. This is normal behaviour, not a defect.

The Spectrix D45G looks and is robust with a solid, armour-like aluminium exterior with rugged ridges and sturdy performance — the same commanding design language as the non-RGB D45 — with programmable RGB lighting integrated into the heat spreader. For builds that have the D45’s aesthetic as their target but want illumination added, the D45G delivers exactly that without compromising the armoured character of the design.

RGB Lighting

RGB lighting on the D45G is fully programmable — choose between different effects including Static, Breathing, and Comet, or sync the lights with your favourite music via Music Mode. All control is done through RGB software from the major motherboard brands, covering ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and ASRock Polychrome Sync, as well as the XPG RGB Sync app for standalone control.

DDR4-3600 Performance & XMP 2.0

The AX4U36008G18I-CBKD45G runs at DDR4-3600 (PC4-28800) with CL18-22-22 timings at 1.35V, unbuffered and non-ECC on a 288-pin DIMM. CL18 primary latency at DDR4-3600 is tighter than the CL20 found on the Viper Steel RGB at the same frequency, and matches the D50 DDR4-3600 variant. Intel XMP 2.0 support enables one-click BIOS overclocking to the rated frequency, and the module defaults to JEDEC base speed without XMP enabled.
