The QC24251 is built around the Intel Core Ultra 5 235T — an Arrow Lake Series 2 processor with 14 cores (6P+8E), 14 threads, 24MB cache, and Turbo Boost up to 5.0GHz, running at a 35W TDP for quiet, thermally efficient operation. Critically, this chip includes an integrated NPU (Neural Processing Unit) rated at 13 TOPS — enabling hardware-accelerated AI workloads including Windows Copilot, AI-assisted video conferencing features, and Intel AI Boost capabilities. This is Intel’s newest commercial platform, placing the QC24251 well ahead of units running older 11th–13th Gen processors in terms of platform longevity and AI readiness. The 16GB DDR5-5600MHz SO-DIMM (one slot occupied, one free, upgradeable to 64GB) and 512GB M.2 2230 TLC PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD complete a capable, modern configuration.

100Hz FHD IPS Display

The 23.8-inch FHD (1920×1080) IPS anti-glare display runs at a smooth 100Hz — noticeably more fluid than the 60Hz panels common in the previous generation. At 250 nits with wide viewing angles, it’s a comfortable all-day business display. Dell ComfortView Plus reduces harmful blue light emissions at the hardware level.

Camera, Audio & Conferencing

The built-in FHD RGB pop-up webcam delivers clear video for conferencing, with a dual-array microphone array for clean voice pickup. The 2×2W stereo speakers handle in-room audio adequately for everyday collaboration. As an Intel vPro platform, the QC24251 supports Dell Optimizer AI for intelligent audio enhancement, noise cancellation, and network prioritisation — improving call quality automatically in the background.

Connectivity & Ports

The port layout is business-focused and well-considered. The right side provides 1× USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) with PowerShare. The left side has a global headset jack. Below the display is 1× USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10Gbps) Type-C. The rear provides 2× USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps), 2× USB 2.0, 1× DisplayPort 1.4a, 1× RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet, and an SD card 4.0 slot. Wireless is Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 (802.11ax tri-band) and Bluetooth 5.3. Note that this model has DisplayPort output only — there is no HDMI port of any kind on this unit.

vPro Security & Enterprise Manageability

As an Intel vPro platform, the QC24251 supports Intel Hardware Shield, Active Management Technology (AMT) for remote out-of-band management, and Intel Threat Detection Technology — features that matter to IT teams managing fleets of business PCs. Dell’s own security stack adds firmware TPM 2.0, off-host BIOS verification, Indicators of Attack, and Secured Component Verification. A Kensington lock slot (3mm × 7mm T-Bar design) is included.

The BTO103 configuration bundles a 3-year Dell ProSupport with Next Business Day on-site service — ProSupport, not just basic warranty. ⚠️ Note: This model has DisplayPort 1.4a output only — no HDMI out and no HDMI in. If your setup requires HDMI connectivity, you’ll need an active DisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter, or consider the OptiPlex 7420 range instead. The webcam is an FHD RGB camera — Windows Hello face authentication is not confirmed on this specific SKU. RAM is a single 16GB SO-DIMM (single-channel); adding a matched second module would enable dual-channel. The 35W T-series Core Ultra 5 is efficient and quiet — not a high-TDP chip, but well-suited to sustained business workloads.
