The Neo 50a Gen 5 is built around Intel’s Series 2 Core 5 210H — an 8-core, 12-thread processor with a base frequency of 2.2GHz (P-core) and Turbo Boost up to 4.8GHz. Backed by 16GB DDR5-5200MHz RAM across two SO-DIMM slots (dual-channel capable, up to 32GB total) and a 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD, this unit delivers responsive, low-friction performance for office productivity, video conferencing, and multi-application workloads. Intel integrated graphics handles general display tasks with dual-monitor support via the native display and HDMI output.

Comfort-First Display

The 23.8-inch FHD (1920×1080) IPS anti-glare panel runs at 100Hz with a 99% sRGB colour gamut, 250 nits, and a 1300:1 contrast ratio. It carries three TÜV Rheinland certifications — Flicker Free, Low Blue Light, and Ultra Low Noise — making it one of the more thoughtfully specced displays in the AiO category for all-day use. The borderless design and near-90° wide viewing angles keep the workspace looking clean.

Audio & Camera

The integrated Harman-certified 3W×2 stereo speakers deliver noticeably richer sound than typical AiO built-ins — a genuine differentiator for open-plan conferencing. The dual-microphone array complements this well. The 5MP IR camera supports Windows Hello face authentication and includes a physical camera shutter latch for privacy when not in use.

Connectivity & Ports

The rear panel provides 1× USB-A (USB 3.2 Gen 2 / 10Gbps), 2× USB-A (USB 2.0), HDMI-in 1.4, HDMI-out 2.1 TMDS, and Gigabit Ethernet. The left side adds 1× USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 2 / 10Gbps) and a 3.5mm headphone/mic combo jack. Wireless connectivity is Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax dual-band) and Bluetooth 5.2. Note there is no card reader and no optical drive on this model. An optional 15W wireless charging pad is available as an accessory for compatible devices.

Security & Deployment

Windows 11 Pro 64-bit ships out of the box. Security is covered by firmware TPM 2.0 integrated in the SoC, a Kensington lock slot (on units manufactured from February 2025 onward), and comprehensive BIOS-level protection including Intel BIOS Guard, secure boot, and never-crash self-healing. The unit ships with a Lenovo Calliope wired USB keyboard and mouse in Luna Grey.

⚠️ Note: The Series 2 Core 5 210H is a U-series mobile processor — energy-efficient and well-suited to sustained office workloads, but not an H-series chip. This is the right call for quiet, power-conscious deployments. There is no card reader and no optical drive on this model. The stand supports tilt only (−5° to +15°) — if you need height adjustment or portrait pivot, look at the Acer Veriton VZ4714G range instead. RAM is configured in dual-channel across two slots, which is a meaningful advantage for integrated graphics compared to single-channel setups.
