It’s powered by a Marvell OCTEON TX2 CN9131 ARMv8 Cortex-A72 quad-core processor running at 2.2GHz, with a built-in hardware encryption engine and 4GB DDR4 RAM on board (upgradeable to 32GB via a single SO-DIMM slot).

Storage and Networking That Mean Business

Four hot-swappable SATA 6Gb/s bays accept 3.5″ HDDs or 2.5″ SSDs, and two M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 3 x1 NVMe slots let you configure SSD caching or a dedicated SSD storage pool to slash latency on busy workloads. On the network side, dual 10GbE SFP+ ports handle high-throughput backup, large file transfers, and container traffic, while dual 2.5GbE RJ45 ports cover day-to-day team file sharing — with port trunking available across both pairs.
