The D500SC uses isolated air chambers that separate the thermal loads of the CPU, GPU, and PSU, keeping the compact chassis cool and quiet under sustained load. Security is well covered for a business machine: firmware TPM, Kensington lock slot, HDD user password protection, and BIOS boot password support are all standard.

💡 The 1TB HDD is the main bottleneck on this machine — adding an M.2 NVMe SSD as a boot drive makes a substantial difference to day-to-day responsiveness without replacing existing storage.

⚠️ This model ships without Wi-Fi; the M.2 Wi-Fi slot is present but unpopulated. A Wi-Fi card must be added separately if wireless connectivity is needed.
