The Core i3-10105 is a 4-core, 8-thread Comet Lake processor with a 3.7 GHz base and 4.4 GHz boost, backed by a 6MB cache and Intel UHD Graphics 630. It handles the full range of daily office tasks — email, web browsing, document processing, spreadsheets, and video conferencing — reliably. The 8GB DDR4-2666 ships in one of two UDIMM slots, with a second slot free for an upgrade up to 64GB maximum.

Storage, Expansion & Connectivity

Primary storage is a 256GB M.2 2280 NVMe SSD, with a DVD-RW optical drive for businesses that still work with optical media. Two SATA ports on the board support the addition of a secondary 3.5″ or 2.5″ storage drive. Expansion includes one PCIe Gen3 x16 slot and one PCIe x1 slot — both low-profile. Front I/O provides 2x USB 2.0, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, and a universal audio jack. The rear adds 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 2x USB 2.0 (Smart Power On), DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 1.4b, Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45), and an audio line-in/out retasking port — supporting dual monitors from the onboard video outputs. ⚠️ The OptiPlex 3080 is a 2020-era platform now end-of-sale. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and remains fully functional, but buyers prioritising long-term serviceability or a current-generation platform should consider a Pro Tower QVT1260 or Pro Slim QCS1250 instead.

⚠️ The rear display outputs are DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 1.4b — the HDMI port is limited to 1080p@120Hz or 4K@30Hz. For 4K@60Hz across both outputs, use the DisplayPort connection for the 4K display.

⚠️ No Wi-Fi is included. Wireless connectivity requires a low-profile PCIe Wi-Fi card added to the x1 expansion slot.
