The Ryzen 5 220 is an AMD Zen 4 architecture processor with 6 cores, 12 threads, a 3.2 GHz base and 4.9 GHz boost, backed by a 16MB cache and the AMD XDNA NPU for AI-accelerated workloads. Running in the compact TM500 chassis with a custom copper heatpipe cooler, it draws desktop-level gaming performance at significantly lower power than a traditional desktop CPU. The 16GB DDR5 is spread across both SO-DIMM slots in a dual-channel configuration, with the platform supporting up to 64GB maximum.

RTX™ 5050 — NVIDIA Blackwell Architecture

The ASUS Dual GeForce RTX™ 5050 8GB GDDR6 brings NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture to the entry-level gaming tier — with hardware ray tracing, DLSS 4, and Frame Generation support. Two Axial-tech fans and a compact 2.5-slot design keep it cool within the Mini Tower chassis. Game output routes through HDMI 2.1b and DisplayPort 1.4 on the rear, supporting high-refresh 1080p and 1440p gaming without a discrete adapter.

Storage, Expansion & Connectivity

The 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD handles primary storage, with a second M.2 2280 slot free for additional capacity. One PCIe 4.0 x16 slot (operating at x8) is occupied by the RTX 5050, with no spare expansion slots in the chassis — the GPU is the only expansion card. Front I/O covers 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack. The TM500 chassis is tested to MIL-STD-810H standards for shock, vibration, heat, and humidity. Discrete TPM 2.0 and a Kensington lock slot cover the security bases, and the 330W 80+ Platinum PSU keeps running costs low with efficient power delivery. An RGB gaming keyboard and RGB gaming mouse are included in the box.

💡 The RTX 5050 and Ryzen 5 220 combination is well-matched for 1080p gaming at high settings across most modern titles, and DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation extends effective performance further at higher resolutions. For 1440p high-refresh gaming, the RTX 5060 Ryzen 7 260 variant of this machine is the recommended step-up.

⚠️ The PCIe x16 slot is occupied by the RTX 5050 and operates at x8 bandwidth — this is the only expansion slot on the machine. There is no room for a second discrete card or additional PCIe add-in card.
