Full-depth rack servers, storage arrays, and high-density compute equipment routinely require 900mm or more of usable depth — and the Cattex 27U 600×1000 is built to accommodate them without compromise. A full 1000mm of internal clearance means deep servers, rear cable management, and power distribution can all coexist in the same enclosure without forcing awkward bends, tight terminations, or equipment that hangs out the back. Built in South Africa to international 19-inch rack standards using precision computerised machinery, the bolted easy-assembly frame is constructed from 1.2mm cold-rolled mild steel (CRMS), phosphated and powder-coated to 50–70 microns for a durable, corrosion-resistant black finish suited to demanding server room environments.

Glass Front, Mesh Rear, Removable Sides

The lockable glass front door maintains clear equipment visibility across all 27U of installed hardware while presenting a clean, professional appearance in both technical and client-facing environments. Double mesh rear doors keep airflow moving through a cabinet that, at 1000mm deep, can house some seriously heat-producing equipment. Removable side panels ensure straightforward access for cabling runs, equipment installation, and ongoing maintenance — particularly useful in a deeper cabinet where rear access alone doesn’t always cut it.

Internal mounting rails adjust both vertically and horizontally to make full use of the 1000mm depth, accommodating varied equipment sizes and configurations without adapters or workarounds.
