The Core Ultra 5 226V is an Intel Series 2 V-Series processor with 8 cores (4 performance + 4 LP efficiency) boosting up to 4.5 GHz, integrated Intel Arc 130V graphics, and a dedicated Intel AI Boost NPU at 40 TOPS. Combined GPU and NPU AI performance reaches 97 TOPS — clearing the 40 TOPS Copilot+ certification threshold and qualifying the machine for the full suite of Windows 11 AI features including Recall, Live Captions, and AI-enhanced productivity tools. The 16GB LPDDR5X-8533 memory is soldered to the system board using MoP (Memory on Package) technology for efficiency and reliability in the compact chassis — it cannot be upgraded after purchase.

Storage, Connectivity & Display

The 512GB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD is the sole storage device, with the platform supporting up to 1TB in the single M.2 slot. Front I/O provides 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (10Gbps, 5V@3A charging), 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (Always On, 5V@2.1A), and a headphone/mic combo jack. The rear adds 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, 2x USB 2.0 Type-A (one with Smart Power On), HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4b, and Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45). An optional punch-out port at the rear can be populated with VGA, a second HDMI, a second DisplayPort, a serial port, or 2.5GbE — enabling up to three simultaneous displays. VESA 100mm mount support allows the unit to mount directly behind a compatible monitor.

ThinkShield security includes discrete TPM 2.0 (FIPS 140-2 certified), Smart USB Protection, chassis intrusion switch, Kensington lock slot, Absolute Persistence Module, hard disk password, Secure Boot, and Secure Wipe. The machine runs off a compact 65W external adapter.

⚠️ The 16GB RAM is soldered and cannot be upgraded — the 13HR000HSA (Ultra 7 256V) is the recommended step-up if more AI processing headroom is needed, as it also provides the stronger Arc 140V GPU tier.

💡 The punch-out port is unpopulated by default on this SA model. A third display output requires the appropriate punch-out card, available as a separately sourced accessory.
