The D60G’s defining visual identity carries over fully to the 16GB single-stick variant. The fully exposed RGB light strips are extra-wide for maximum effect, combined with a mesmerising multi-coloured flow effect — covering 9,497mm² of surface area, equating to over 60% of the module’s total surface. The design uses 10 LEDs total — five per side of the PCB — behind a 126mm × 6mm light diffuser viewed from above, with the diamond-inspired, multi-faceted surface standing at 133mm long, 45mm tall, and 9mm thick. No other memory module in this range — or in the DDR4 market broadly — matches this RGB surface area ratio.

Diamond-Cut Heat Spreader

The unique avant-garde styling of the D60G includes an edgy X-light design with a diamond-inspired, multi-faceted surface that’s a cut above the rest. The tungsten grey anodised aluminium heat spreader is both functional and architectural — built with high-quality chips and a metal heat sink for excellent signal integrity, reliability, and stability, which effectively extends the lifespan of the memory module.

RGB Software Compatibility

The D60G’s lighting is compatible with existing RGB control software from major motherboard makers — ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and ASRock Polychrome Sync — alongside ADATA’s own XPG RGB Sync app for standalone effect customisation including patterns, pulse speed, and lighting intensity.

Performance & XMP 2.0

The AX4U320016G16A-ST60 runs at DDR4-3200 (PC4-25600) at CL16, 1.35V, with Intel XMP 2.0 support for easy overclocking. The CL16-20-20 timing profile is the compatibility-optimised XMP profile, designed for broad stability across Intel and AMD DDR4 platforms. Without XMP enabled the module defaults to JEDEC base speed — typically DDR4-2666.

⚠️ XMP must be enabled for rated speed: This module defaults to JEDEC speed without XMP 2.0 activated in BIOS (or DOCP/EXPO on AMD). Enable XMP to unlock DDR4-3200 at CL16-20-20. This is normal behaviour, not a defect.

8GB vs 16GB D60G

The AX4U320016G16A-ST60 is the single-stick 16GB variant of the same platform as the 8GB AX4U32008G16A-ST60 listed elsewhere in this range. Both deliver identical RGB performance, XMP profiles, and physical design — the 16GB single-stick is the right choice for systems targeting 16GB in a single slot, or as the foundation of a future 32GB dual-channel RGB build.

⚠️ Check CPU cooler clearance: At 45mm tall the D60G is one of the taller modules in this range. Verify your CPU cooler’s RAM clearance before purchasing, particularly with large tower air coolers.

⚠️ Single stick = single channel: For dual-channel bandwidth and double the RGB presence, install a second AX4U320016G16A-ST60 in your motherboard’s recommended paired DIMM slots.
