The Cattex 20U Wall Mount Cabinet is the right choice when your installation has grown beyond what smaller wallboxes can accommodate but a floor-standing rack still isn’t the preferred solution. A fully populated 20U wall mount can house a complete network stack: multiple patch panels, managed switching, firewall and routing appliances, a rack-mount UPS, PDU, and still leave room for future expansion. Manufactured in South Africa to international 19-inch rack standards using precision computerised machinery, this is a professional-grade enclosure for demanding office, server room, retail, and enterprise edge deployments.

The shatter-resistant smoky grey glass front door delivers clear visibility across all twenty units of installed equipment while keeping the installation secure and presentable — whether in a dedicated server room or a more visible environment. The lock is included, making the cabinet ready to deploy and secure straight out of the box.

Finish Options: Pre-Coated or Powder-Coated

Available in pre-coated or powder-coated finish to match your installation spec. The powder-coated option is applied at 50–70 microns for maximum corrosion resistance and surface durability over the long term. The pre-coated option suits standard indoor environments where the full powder-coat spec isn’t required. Both share the same robust steel construction with fully adjustable internal mounting rails — adjustable both vertically and horizontally — supporting a wide range of equipment sizes and configurations across 450mm of internal depth.

⚠️ Installation Note: Wall fixings are not included. At 20U, installed weight can be very significant — a fully populated cabinet with UPS, switching, and cabling infrastructure can place a substantial load on your wall structure. Before mounting, confirm that your wall — masonry or stud — is structurally rated for the full combined load. Engagement of a qualified installer or structural assessor is strongly recommended for this size cabinet.
