The Dell OptiPlex 3090 Micro is Dell’s Micro Form Factor desktop — a complete business PC in a 36 × 178.56 × 182 mm chassis that weighs just over a kilogram and can be mounted directly to the back of a monitor via a VESA bracket, tucked behind a desk, or deployed in space-constrained environments where a conventional desktop simply won’t fit. Despite its size, it delivers genuine 10th Generation Intel Core i3-10100T performance (4 cores, 8 threads, 3.0 GHz base / 3.8 GHz boost) with full Windows 11 Pro compatibility, two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs for dual-monitor productivity, and a 256 GB M.2 SSD that boots and launches applications at SSD speeds rather than the sluggish pace of a spinning drive.

The Q470 chipset provides Intel’s commercial platform features including vPro manageability (where configured), TPM 2.0 hardware security, and Secure Boot support. The 65W external AC power adapter keeps the unit fanless-quiet in typical office loads and eliminates the need for an internal PSU, contributing to the chassis’s compact dimensions. Two SODIMM slots allow memory expansion up to 64 GB for more demanding workloads, and a SATA slot accommodates an optional 2.5″ HDD or SATA SSD for additional storage alongside the M.2 primary drive.

💡 With an optional VESA mount bracket, the OptiPlex 3090 Micro attaches directly to the back of a compatible monitor — effectively disappearing from the desk entirely. This makes it an excellent choice for reception counters, point-of-sale environments, hot desk deployments, digital signage, and any space where visible hardware is undesirable.

⚠️ No discrete GPU expansion is possible — the Micro form factor has no PCIe expansion slot. Display output relies entirely on Intel UHD 630 integrated graphics. This system is suited to productivity, web browsing, video conferencing, and office applications, but not gaming or GPU-accelerated workloads.

⚠️ Wi-Fi is not included by default. An M.2 2230 Wi-Fi card (optional Dell upgrade) is required for wireless connectivity. Confirm with your supplier whether the wireless module is included in this specific unit’s configuration.
