Seamless Switchover — Minimal Disruption

When the primary UCM6510 fails, the HA100 automatically switches system control — including all connected telecom lines, network links, auxiliary devices, and all SIP endpoints previously registered on the primary — to the hot-standby secondary unit. Gratuitous ARP forces SIP endpoints to refresh the MAC address of the new UCM6510 without interruptions, meaning handsets and softphones reconnect to the standby unit automatically with no manual reconfiguration required.

• Full switchover of T1/E1 lines, FXO/FXS ports, network links, and all registered SIP endpoints
• Gratuitous ARP for seamless endpoint re-registration on the standby unit

This makes it straightforward to identify which unit is active, whether the standby is in a healthy ready state, and the status of each connected line or interface.
