The FURY Renegade RGB DDR5 carries two headline features that set it apart from every other RGB module in this range. First, Kingston’s patented Infrared Sync Technology: Infrared Sync keeps lighting effects in perfect lock-step across modules without any cables, providing smooth, synchronised PC lighting. Second, FURY CTRL software: FURY CTRL provides 18 customisable RGB lighting effects — a substantially richer lighting control platform than the motherboard-software-only approach of most competing RGB modules.

The dynamic light bar features 12 LEDs per module behind the silver and black heat spreader’s RGB diffuser zone. In addition to standalone FURY CTRL control, the Renegade RGB syncs with ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and ASRock Polychrome Sync for motherboard-level ecosystem integration.

DDR5-6400 CL32: Peak Performance

Performance specs are identical to the non-RGB KF564C32RS-16. Each module has been tested to run at DDR5-6400 at CL32-39-39 at 1.4V via Intel XMP 3.0. The SPDs are programmed to JEDEC standard DDR5-4800 at 40-39-39 at 1.1V. Each 288-pin DIMM uses gold contact fingers. DDR5-6400 CL32 delivers approximately 10ns absolute memory access latency — matching the tightest primary latency profiles available in consumer DDR5-6400.

💡 XMP 3.0 must be enabled for rated speed: Without activating XMP 3.0 in BIOS, this module defaults to JEDEC DDR5-4800 at CL40-39-39 at 1.1V. Enable XMP 3.0 to unlock DDR5-6400 at CL32-39-39. Updating your BIOS before installation is strongly recommended.

💡 1.4V is normal at DDR5-6400 CL32: The elevated operating voltage is within safe DDR5 parameters for this speed and timing grade.

Renegade RGB vs Renegade (Non-RGB)

The KF564C32RSA-16 and KF564C32RS-16 are identical in DDR5 performance specification — same die, same XMP profile, same 1Rx8 topology, same timings and voltage. The RGB variant adds the Infrared Sync light bar and 12-LED RGB, FURY CTRL software access, and a modestly taller module height to accommodate the diffuser. For performance-only builds or cooler-clearance-constrained systems, the non-RGB Renegade is the appropriate choice. For premium builds where RGB presence and Infrared Sync synchronisation are desired alongside flagship DDR5-6400 CL32 performance, this is the module.

DDR5 Platform Features

On-die ECC delivers more reliable DRAM components, an on-board PMIC balances power when and where it’s needed, and two independent 32-bit subchannels provide dramatic increases in data efficiency for multi-core processors. 100% factory tested at rated speed.

DDR5 Platform Requirements

DDR5 is not compatible with DDR4 motherboards or slots. A DDR5-capable motherboard and CPU is required.
