The HX432C16FB3/8 stands at just 34.1mm (1.3425″) with its heatsink fitted — making it one of the most cooler-friendly CL16 gaming memory modules available. Where the HyperX Predator RGB reaches 42.2mm, the Fury comes in more than 8mm shorter, comfortably clearing the RAM overhang zones of almost all large tower CPU coolers. The revised black aluminium heat spreader gives it a clean, premium look without contributing unnecessary height or weight to the build.

Plug N Play Auto-Overclocking

A standout feature that sets HyperX FURY apart from other DDR4-3200 modules is its Plug N Play auto-overclocking capability. FURY DDR4 features Plug N Play automatic overclocking at 2400MHz and 2666MHz speeds, providing a performance boost without requiring any manual BIOS configuration on compatible platforms. On Intel systems that support XMP, enabling XMP Profile 1 in BIOS takes the module to its full DDR4-3200 CL16 rated speed — and on platforms with Plug N Play support, the system handles intermediate speed optimisation automatically.

Dual XMP Profiles & Performance

XMP Profile 1 runs at DDR4-3200 with CL16-18-18 timings at 1.35V. XMP Profile 2 provides a compatibility fallback at DDR4-3000 with CL15-17-17 at 1.35V. Without XMP enabled, the SPD defaults to JEDEC DDR4-2400 at 17-17-17 at 1.2V. The inclusion of two hand-tuned profiles means the Fury can deliver rated CL16 performance on capable systems while still offering a reliable secondary profile for platforms that struggle with DDR4-3200 from XMP Profile 1.

💡 XMP must be enabled for rated speed: This module defaults to DDR4-2400 at JEDEC. Enable XMP 2.0 Profile 1 in your motherboard BIOS to unlock DDR4-3200 at CL16-18-18. Profile 2 (DDR4-3000 CL15) is available as a fallback. Updating your BIOS before installation is recommended for best results.

💡 AMD note: AMD Ryzen systems will boot at the JEDEC default speed and latency with FURY. To enable the factory overclock speed and latency, XMP Profile 1 must be selected manually in the BIOS.

The module is a 1Rx8 single-rank design built on eight 1G×8-bit FBGA components with gold contact fingers and a 288-pin form factor. Depending on batch, the HX432C16FB3/8 uses Samsung B-die or Micron Rev.E ICs — both widely supported across mainstream Intel and AMD chipsets. Kingston backs this with 100% factory testing at rated speeds and a lifetime warranty.

Compatibility

The Fury is compatible across mainstream Intel (Core 6th generation onwards) and AMD Ryzen DDR4 platforms, covering AM4, LGA1200, and LGA1700 (where DDR4 is supported). As a single 8GB stick it runs in single-channel mode by default; pairing with a second matching module in the recommended dual-channel slots delivers 16GB dual-channel and maximum memory bandwidth.
