The Ryzen 5 PRO 8600GE is a Hawk Point architecture processor with 6 cores, 12 threads, a 3.9 GHz base and 5.0 GHz boost, backed by AMD Radeon 760M integrated graphics and the AMD Ryzen AI engine — enabling hardware-accelerated AI tasks directly in the processor. PRO-series designation brings enterprise-grade manageability features including AMD DASH remote management, AMD Memory Guard (full memory encryption), and extended commercial platform lifecycle. The 16GB DDR5-5200 ships across two SO-DIMM slots in a dual-channel configuration, with the pair upgradeable to 32GB (or 64GB on special bid configurations).

Storage, Connectivity & Display

Two M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 slots support up to 1TB each, with the second slot available for a storage expansion drive. Front I/O covers 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (10Gbps, 5V@0.9A), 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (one Always On), and a headphone/mic combo jack. ENERGY STAR 8.0 and EPEAT Gold certifications complete the sustainability credentials, and the chassis uses 85% post-consumer recycled ABS plastic.

💡 The AMD PRO platform includes AMD DASH remote management support — useful for IT administrators deploying this machine at scale, as it allows out-of-band device management without requiring Windows to be running.

⚠️ The front USB-C port supports data transfer and 5V@0.9A charging only — it does not support video output. Display output via USB-C requires the optional USB-C punch-out port card in the rear.
