The Core 5 210H is a Series 2 Intel H-series processor with 8 cores (4 performance + 4 efficiency), 12 threads, boosting up to 4.8 GHz on performance cores, backed by a 12MB Intel Smart Cache and Intel integrated graphics. It’s a capable chip for everyday business workloads — video conferencing, office productivity, light data processing — and delivers reliable performance in the compact 1L chassis. The 8GB DDR5-5600 ships in one of two SO-DIMM slots, with the second free for a RAM upgrade up to 64GB, and the machine supports two M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD slots for a second storage drive — meaningful advantages over the Gen 6 platform’s soldered memory and single-drive design.

Connectivity, Expansion & Display

Front I/O provides 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (10Gbps, 5V@3A charging), 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (Always On, 5V@2.1A), and a headphone/mic combo jack. The rear adds 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, 2x USB 2.0 Type-A (one with Smart Power On), HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4b, and Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45) — supporting up to three simultaneous displays with an optional punch-out port card (VGA, second DP, serial, or 2.5GbE). Security & Build

The full ThinkShield suite is present: discrete TPM 2.0 (FIPS 140-2 certified), Smart USB Protection, chassis intrusion switch, Kensington lock slot, Absolute Persistence Module, Intel BIOS Guard, Secure Boot, Secure Wipe, and individual USB port disablement. The machine runs off a 65W external adapter and weighs just 1.13 kg.

💡 Unlike the Gen 6 Neo 50q (which uses soldered LPDDR5X), both RAM slots here use standard DDR5 SO-DIMMs — making future upgrades straightforward and cost-effective without replacing the machine.

⚠️ No card reader, optical drive, or punch-out port is included by default. A third display output requires the appropriate punch-out card, sourced separately.
