2.5G SFP — Future-Proof Fibre Uplink

Got a 2 Gbps fibre plan? Use the 2.5G SFP port to deliver that speed to your power-hungry devices — from self-hosted movie servers to media workstations or security camera NVRs. The SFP cage accepts standard 1.25G SFP modules with 2.5G support, giving you flexible fibre or copper uplink options as your network grows.

Dual-Core 950 MHz — Serious Processing Power

The dual-core ARM EN7562CT CPU running at 950 MHz, backed by 512MB RAM and 128MB NAND storage, ensures seamless handling of all RouterOS configurations — including hardware-accelerated IPsec VPN at approximately 470 Mbps, allowing encrypted site-to-site tunnels without sacrificing routing performance.

802.3af/at PoE-in & Passive PoE-out

Port 1 accepts 802.3af/at standard PoE input (18–57V), allowing the router to be powered cleanly from a PoE switch without a separate power adapter — ideal for clean rack or wall installations. Port 5 provides passive PoE output at up to 0.5A, powering compatible passive PoE devices such as wireless access points and IP cameras directly from the router.

RouterOS v7 — Enterprise Features, No Licence Fees

RouterOS v7 gives you advanced routing, VLANs, bonding, traffic shaping, and more — so you can build the wired network you’ve always wanted. Firewall, DHCP, DNS, QoS, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN (OpenVPN, WireGuard, IPsec, L2TP), and The Dude network monitoring server are all included under the Level 4 licence — at no additional cost.

USB, microSD & Flexible Power

A full-size USB 3.0 Type-A port supports storage expansion and 3G/4G modem connectivity for WAN failover. The device accepts DC jack input (12–57V) or 802.3af/at PoE-in — dual power input options for flexible deployment. A microSD slot provides additional file storage capacity, particularly useful for The Dude server logging.

Free Lifetime RouterOS Updates

The device ships with RouterOS v7 pre-installed and fully licensed. No separate software purchase is required, and MikroTik provides free software updates for the life of the product or a minimum of 5 years from the date of purchase.

⚠️ Important Notes:

• No Wi-Fi — this is a wired-only router. A separate wireless access point is required for wireless connectivity.
• Port 5 PoE-out is passive only — not 802.3af/at standard PoE. Only passive PoE-compatible devices will work. Verify device compatibility before connecting.
• SFP module not included — a compatible 1.25G or 2.5G SFP module must be purchased separately for fibre connectivity.
• RouterOS has a learning curve for new users — WinBox GUI is recommended for initial configuration.
