MSI GeForce RTX™ 5060 Inspire 2X OC (8GB GDDR7)
R8,369.00 inc. VAT
The MSI GeForce RTX 5060 Inspire 2X OC is the creative-minded card in MSI’s RTX 5060 range — Blackwell architecture, 3,840 CUDA cores, 8GB GDDR7, and a 2535 MHz boost clock in a distinctive Mondrian grid-inspired design aimed at content creators and professionals as much as gamers. STORMFORCE dual fans, a metal backplate with thermal pads and airflow vents, and MSI’s Gaming/Silent BIOS modes set it apart from the functional-but-plain VENTUS and Shadow. PCIe 5.0, no RGB, 204 mm length.

Description
INSPIRE: Performance Meets Creative Identity
The INSPIRE line seamlessly fuses a sleek, compact design with cutting-edge performance, aimed at creative and professional builds where aesthetics matter alongside capability. The Mondrian grid-inspired design language — clean geometric lines in a modern art aesthetic — distinguishes it visually from MSI’s gaming-first VENTUS and Shadow lines without resorting to RGB or aggressive shroud styling. Under the hood it’s the same Blackwell RTX 5060 silicon: 3,840 CUDA cores, 8GB GDDR7 at 28 Gbps on a 128-bit bus, delivering 448 GB/s of memory bandwidth. The boost clock reaches 2535 MHz standard, with 2550 MHz available via MSI Center’s Extreme Performance mode — placing it above the VENTUS and Shadow (2527 MHz) and in line with the GIGABYTE Eagle OC (2550 MHz). DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, NVIDIA Reflex 2 with Frame Warp, fourth-generation RT Cores, and fifth-generation Tensor Cores are fully supported alongside NVIDIA Studio creative acceleration tools.
STORMFORCE Dual-Fan Cooling with Metal Backplate
The STORMFORCE fans feature seven blades with a claw texture and a circular arc geometry, engineered for high static pressure airflow with minimal noise — the same fan design found on MSI’s Gaming OC tier, stepping up from the TORX Fan 5.0 found on VENTUS and Shadow variants. Heat pipes draw thermal energy efficiently away from the GPU die to the heatsink fins. Where the Inspire genuinely differentiates itself from VENTUS and Shadow is the backplate: a reinforcing metal backplate is equipped with thermal pads to enhance cooling capacity, while airflow vents allow exhaust air to pass directly through — providing both structural rigidity and active thermal contribution, unlike the plastic backplates on the VENTUS and Shadow. MSI Center lets you choose between Gaming mode for full performance and Silent mode for reduced noise, with Afterburner available for full manual overclocking.
Where It Sits in the RTX 5060 Lineup
The Inspire 2X OC occupies an interesting position — clocked above VENTUS and Shadow, with STORMFORCE fans and a metal backplate that approach Gaming OC territory, but in a more compact 204 mm body with a distinctive creative aesthetic rather than aggressive gaming styling. At 204 × 117 × 41 mm it is one of the more compact full-height RTX 5060 designs available, making it well-suited to workstation-style builds, creators using micro-ATX platforms, and anyone who wants capable GPU performance without a shroud that looks like it belongs in a gaming PC.
Power and Connectivity
The card draws 145W through a single 8-pin PCIe connector with a 550W PSU recommendation. Display outputs cover 3× DisplayPort 2.1b and 1× HDMI 2.1b, supporting up to 4 simultaneous displays at 7680×4320. The interface is PCIe Gen 5 x16, operating electrically at x8, fully backwards compatible with PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 motherboards.
⚠️ Inspire vs Shadow vs VENTUS: All three boost to similar clocks (VENTUS/Shadow: 2527 MHz, Inspire: 2535 MHz). The Inspire adds STORMFORCE fans (vs TORX Fan 5.0) and a metal backplate with thermal pads (vs plastic backplate). Choose VENTUS for the lowest price, Shadow for better thermal contact via copper baseplate, Inspire for the metal backplate, STORMFORCE fans, and creative build aesthetic.
⚠️ 8GB GDDR7 note: Strong at 1080p and capable at 1440p with DLSS enabled. The 128-bit bus and 8GB VRAM ceiling will limit native 4K at maximum settings in texture-heavy AAA titles — DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation is the recommended path to smooth 4K.
⚠️ PCIe lane note: PCIe Gen 5 x16 slot, operating at x8 electrically. Fully compatible with PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 motherboards with no performance penalty at this tier.
