The PCBuilder Fusion 24″ (i7 variant) is built around the Intel Core i7-14700 — a 20-core (8P+12E) desktop processor running at 2.1GHz base with Turbo Boost up to 5.4GHz, mounted on a socketed LGA1700 Intel H610 motherboard. This is the same chip found in mid-to-high-end tower builds, not a cut-down mobile variant. With 32GB of Crucial DDR4 3200MHz SO-DIMM RAM across two slots running in dual-channel, a 1TB Crucial Gen4 NVMe SSD, and Intel UHD integrated graphics, this unit delivers genuinely strong performance for heavy office multitasking, large spreadsheet work, video conferencing, and content-light creative tasks.

Dual-Channel RAM Advantage

Unlike the i5 variant which ships with a single 16GB stick, the i7 model configures its 32GB across two 16GB modules in dual-channel mode. This not only doubles the memory capacity but meaningfully improves integrated graphics throughput and overall memory bandwidth — a tangible real-world benefit for display-intensive and memory-bound workloads.

Display & Ergonomics

The 24-inch Full HD (1920×1080) IPS panel sits on an adjustable stand with tilt and swivel, letting you dial in the perfect viewing angle for your workspace. The display provides comfortable, colour-accurate visuals for all-day use, and the all-in-one form factor keeps the desk clean and cable-free.

Connectivity & Deployment

Gigabit LAN and dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz) cover wired and wireless networking. The built-in power supply keeps the unit self-contained. The PCBuilder ALPHA Silent Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo is included, so the system is ready to use straight out of the box. Windows 11 Home 64-bit is pre-installed.

⚠️ Note: This model ships with Windows 11 Home, not Pro. Businesses requiring domain join, BitLocker, or Remote Desktop will need to upgrade the OS licence separately. As with all PCBuilder Fusion units, warranty and support are handled through PCBuilder’s South African distribution channel rather than a global OEM. No built-in webcam is included — an external camera will be needed for video conferencing. The H610 chipset does not support overclocking, but the socketed LGA1700 CPU can be replaced if needed in future. Note that while 32GB of DDR4 is included, the platform uses SO-DIMMs — confirm slot count and upgrade path with your supplier if further expansion beyond 32GB is anticipated.
