The JM4800ALE-32G brings Transcend’s ETT-grade DRAM quality assurance to 32GB single-stick capacity — the largest module in the JetRam DDR5-4800 desktop lineup. DDR5 features two independent 32-bit channels that bring speeds to 4,800MT/s. 1.1V low working voltage and PMIC effectively reduce signal interruption while cutting down power consumption for your computer. On-die ECC automatically spots and corrects data errors, enhancing data integrity and system stability. The module ships on a standard green PCB at 1.23 inches height — fitting virtually all desktop cases and CPU cooler configurations — with no heat spreader and no RGB.

Dual-Rank (2Rx8) Configuration

The JM4800ALE-32G uses a 2Rx8 dual-rank (2Gx8)×8 configuration — the same IC topology as the 16GB JM4800ALE-16G but with dual-rank arrangement to achieve the doubled 32GB capacity. The dual-rank configuration allows the memory controller to interleave between ranks, delivering improved effective memory bandwidth compared to single-rank alternatives at the same capacity, particularly in memory-intensive workloads such as virtualisation, large dataset processing, and multi-threaded productivity applications.

16GB vs 32GB JetRam DDR5-4800

Both the JM4800ALE-16G and JM4800ALE-32G use the same (2Gx8)×8 IC composition, but the 32GB module uses dual-rank (2Rx8) while the 16GB uses single-rank (1Rx8). For systems targeting 32GB total in a single slot — or a foundation for a future 64GB dual-channel configuration — the 32GB variant is the appropriate choice. For 32GB dual-channel configurations, two JM4800ALE-16G sticks may provide better memory bus utilisation depending on the specific platform.

Performance Profile

The JM4800ALE-32G runs at DDR5-4800 (PC5-38400) with CL40 timings at 1.1V via JEDEC specification — no XMP profile, no BIOS configuration required. Operating temperature is 0°C to 85°C, consistent with the 16GB JetRam DDR5 variant.
