The Spectrix D60G is built around one of the most distinctive visual designs in the desktop memory market. The fully exposed RGB light strips are extra-wide for maximum effect, combined with a mesmerising multi-coloured flow effect to outshine the competition — covering 9,497mm² of surface area, equating to over 60% of the module’s total surface. The diamond-cut, multi-faceted aluminium heat spreader in tungsten grey gives the module an avant-garde, premium aesthetic that stands out in windowed builds. RGB effects are fully programmable via the XPG RGB Sync app, and the lighting is compatible with existing RGB control software from major motherboard makers including ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and ASRock Polychrome Sync.

Performance & XMP 2.0

This module ships with Intel XMP 2.0 profiles for easy, one-click overclocking from BIOS. The AX4U32008G16A-ST60 runs at DDR4-3200 with CL16-20-20 timings when XMP is enabled — a compatibility-optimised profile designed to achieve rated performance reliably across a wide range of Intel and AMD motherboards. Operating voltage at XMP is 1.35V. Without XMP enabled, the module defaults to DDR4-2666 at JEDEC base spec — XMP must be activated in BIOS to reach advertised speed.

💡 XMP must be enabled for rated speed: This module defaults to DDR4-2666 at JEDEC. Enable XMP 2.0 in your motherboard BIOS to unlock DDR4-3200 at CL16-20-20. This is normal behaviour, not a defect.

Heat Spreader & Thermals

The D60G is built with high-quality chips and a metal heat sink for excellent signal integrity, reliability, and stability, which effectively extends the lifespan of the memory module. At 45.93mm in height the heat spreader adds meaningful thermal headroom, though buyers with large tower CPU coolers should verify clearance — particularly in tight mid-tower builds with top-mounted RAM slots near the cooler’s heatsink stack.

⚠️ Check CPU cooler clearance: At approximately 46mm tall, the D60G is taller than standard heatspreadless modules. Confirm your CPU cooler’s RAM clearance specification before purchasing, especially with large tower coolers.

Compatibility

The Spectrix D60G is tested to work with both AMD and Intel motherboards, compatible across AM4 (Ryzen), LGA1200 (10th/11th gen Intel), and LGA1700 (12th/13th gen Intel where DDR4 is supported). As a single 8GB stick it operates in single-channel mode; pair it with a second unit in the recommended dual-channel slots for maximum memory bandwidth. Two sticks also doubles the RGB presence in your build.
