XPG Prime Ecosystem

The Caster RGB adds a meaningful differentiator over the Lancer: XPG Prime lighting control software not only allows you to set unique DRAM lighting effects, but also lets you sync all Prime-supported XPG RGB products to create imaginative light shows and shape your own Prime ecosystem. For builders running multiple XPG RGB components — fans, coolers, cases — the Prime ecosystem enables unified cross-product lighting control, a capability absent from the Lancer RGB’s motherboard-software-only approach.

RGB Lighting

Set the RGB lighting the way you want it — choose from Static, Breathing, and Comet effects, or sync the lights with your favourite music via Music Mode. All this can be done through RGB control software from all major motherboard brands. The triangular RGB light bar sits against the Tungsten Grey heat spreader, producing a focused, directional glow that complements the module’s angular, aerodynamic profile. Motherboard ecosystem compatibility covers ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and ASRock Polychrome Sync in addition to XPG Prime.

Performance & XMP 3.0

The AX5U6000C3016G-CCARGY runs at DDR5-6000MHz, CL30-40-40 at 1.35V. Intel XMP 3.0 is supported for one-click overclocking to the rated DDR5-6000 profile. The integrated PMIC provides stable power regulation at the 1.35V/1.4V operating range. Without XMP 3.0 enabled the module defaults to JEDEC DDR5-4800 at CL40. Note that this grey (GY) variant supports Intel XMP 3.0; buyers on AMD Ryzen 7000 (AM5) platforms should verify DOCP/EXPO compatibility on their specific motherboard before purchasing.

⚠️ XMP 3.0 must be enabled for rated speed: Without activating XMP 3.0 in BIOS, this module defaults to JEDEC DDR5-4800 at CL40. Enable XMP 3.0 to unlock DDR5-6000 at CL30-40-40. Updating your BIOS before installation is strongly recommended.

DDR5 Platform Features & Requirements

The XPG Caster RGB is equipped with integrated on-die ECC for real-time error correction and a PMIC for greater stability and reliability. DDR5 is not compatible with DDR4 motherboards or slots. A DDR5-capable motherboard and CPU is required.
