The ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 2060 EVO brings NVIDIA’s Turing architecture to a dual-fan platform with cooling technologies derived from ASUS’s flagship ROG lineup. The 2.7-slot Axial-tech fan design features a smaller hub that facilitates longer fan blades and a barrier ring to increase downward air pressure — more effective thermal performance than conventional fan designs of the same diameter. The 0dB Technology mode stops both fans completely when GPU temperatures drop below a threshold during light workloads, providing silent operation for desktop use, video playback, and undemanding games.

Super Alloy Power II (premium alloy chokes, solid polymer capacitors, and high-current MOSFETs) contributes to stable power delivery under sustained gaming loads, while ASUS’s Auto-Extreme manufacturing process uses automation throughout PCB assembly to reduce the risk of flux contamination and solder joint inconsistency. The aluminium backplate reinforces the PCB against flex and trace damage, and provides a clean rear finish in windowed chassis builds.

⚠️ The RTX 2060 supports DLSS 2 (Super Resolution) but does not support DLSS 3 Frame Generation — that feature is exclusive to RTX 40 Series. For DLSS 3 Frame Generation, an RTX 4060 or higher is required.

⚠️ The 6 GB GDDR6 frame buffer is well-suited to 1080p gaming. At 1440p with maximum texture quality settings, some VRAM-intensive titles may approach or exceed the available buffer in 2024 and beyond. DLSS Quality mode is the recommended approach for extending 1440p viability on this card.

💡 The RTX 2060 is an excellent entry into hardware ray tracing and DLSS-supported titles for builds on a budget. Real-time ray tracing is best enjoyed at 1080p with ray tracing settings at medium, supplemented by DLSS for frame rate recovery.
