The ASUS ExpertCenter PN64 brings Intel’s 12th Generation Alder Lake hybrid architecture to the Mini PC form factor — combining four Performance cores (handling heavy priority tasks at up to 4.5 GHz boost) with eight Efficiency cores (managing background and light workloads at lower power) for genuinely multitasking-capable performance that previous dual-core and quad-core Mini PCs couldn’t match. The result is a compact office and productivity system that handles video conferencing, multi-tab browsing, document processing, data analysis, and light creative work simultaneously without thermal bottlenecks in typical office conditions. ASUS reports a 28% overall performance boost over the previous PN63-S1 generation.

DDR5-4800 memory provides 34% faster reads and 37% faster writes over equivalent DDR4 configurations, and the PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe SSD delivers up to 8 GB/s sequential transfer speeds — twice that of PCIe 3.0. The 2.5″ SATA bay is a practical inclusion for builders who want to add a high-capacity secondary drive for file storage, backups, or archiving alongside the fast primary NVMe SSD, without any external storage.
