The 12SC00A5SA is configured around Intel’s Series 2 Core 7 240H — a 16-core (6P+8E+2LPE), 22-thread H-series processor running at up to 5.0GHz Turbo Boost with 24MB cache. This is meaningfully more processing power than either the Core 5 210H (12SC008YSA) or the 13th Gen i7-13620H (12SD0013SA) variants in this range — more cores, higher peak clocks, and the newer Series 2 architecture. Backed by 16GB DDR5-5200MHz RAM (2 SO-DIMM slots, dual-channel capable, upgradeable to 32GB) and a 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD, this is a capable workstation for demanding multitasking, data-heavy office applications, and high-intensity video conferencing.

23.8″ FHD Touchscreen Display

Unlike the other 24″ Neo 50a Gen 5 variants, this model ships with a 10-point multi-touch FHD (1920×1080) IPS anti-glare panel — opening up touch-first workflows, interactive presentations, and accessibility use cases. It runs at 100Hz with 250 nits brightness, 99% sRGB, and the full complement of TÜV Rheinland certifications: Flicker Free, Low Blue Light, and Ultra Low Noise. The borderless design and 89° wide-view angles keep the workspace looking clean.

Audio, Camera & Conferencing

The Harman-certified 3W×2 stereo speakers deliver richer, clearer audio than typical AiO built-ins — a genuine advantage for open-plan offices and frequent video calls. The dual-microphone array keeps voice pickup clean. The 5MP IR camera supports Windows Hello face authentication and includes a physical camera shutter latch for mechanical privacy when not in use. Lenovo Smart Meeting AI software enhances conferencing with virtual background, auto-framing, and digital avatar capabilities.

Connectivity & Ports

The rear I/O provides 1× USB-A (USB 3.2 Gen 2 / 10Gbps), 2× USB-A (USB 2.0), HDMI-in 1.4, HDMI-out 2.1 TMDS, and Gigabit Ethernet. The left side adds 1× USB-C (USB 3.2 Gen 2 / 10Gbps, data transfer only) and a 3.5mm headphone/mic combo jack. Wireless is Intel Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax dual-band) and Bluetooth 5.2. No card reader or optical drive is included.

Security & Deployment

Windows 11 Pro 64-bit ships out of the box. Firmware TPM 2.0, Kensington lock slot (on units from February 2025 onward), Intel BIOS Guard, secure boot, and power-on password cover the security requirements. A Lenovo USB Calliope keyboard and mouse are included.

⚠️ Note: This is the touchscreen model — if non-touch is preferred, look at the 12SC008YSA instead. The Core 7 240H is an H-series processor delivering notably more peak performance than the U-series Core 5 210H variant, but will run slightly warmer and draw more power accordingly. RAM across two SO-DIMM slots means upgrading to 32GB replaces one module rather than requiring a full SO-DIMM swap. The USB-C port is data transfer only — no power delivery or DisplayPort output. No card reader or optical drive included.
