The Cattex 42U 600×800 perforated floor standing cabinet is designed for installations where the rack will be heavily populated with active, heat-producing equipment — core switching, compute nodes, rack-mount UPS units, and dense networking infrastructure that simply cannot afford thermal throttling under sustained load. The perforated front door and mesh double rear doors work together to establish an unobstructed front-to-rear airflow path across the full height of the cabinet, keeping temperatures in check whether you’re running a handful of devices or pushing towards full capacity. Built in South Africa to international 19-inch rack standards using precision computerised machinery, the bolted easy-assembly frame is constructed from 1.2mm cold-rolled mild steel (CRMS), phosphated and powder-coated to 50–70 microns for a durable, corrosion-resistant black finish built for the long haul.

Perforated Front, Mesh Rear, Removable Sides

The perforated lockable front door delivers maximum passive airflow into the cabinet without sacrificing security — equipment stays locked away while heat has every opportunity to escape. Double mesh rear doors allow warm air to exhaust freely across the full rear face of the cabinet, completing the thermal loop. Removable side panels provide the unrestricted access a large, heavily populated cabinet demands — making cabling runs, equipment swaps, and maintenance practical rather than painful.

Fully Adjustable, Built to Last

Internal mounting rails are fully adjustable both vertically and horizontally, accommodating a wide range of equipment depths and configurations across 800mm of internal clearance.
