The Core Ultra 7 265 brings 20 cores (8 performance + 12 efficiency), 20 threads, a 5.3 GHz boost frequency, and a 30MB cache — with a dedicated Intel AI Boost NPU delivering 13 TOPS of on-device AI processing for AI-enhanced apps, background noise cancellation, and intelligent workload management. This is the same processor platform as the Dell Pro Max Tower FCT2250, in a chassis just 95mm wide. The 16GB DDR5-5600 ships in one of two DIMM slots, upgradeable to 64GB maximum.

Next-Generation Display & Connectivity

The Ultra 7 265 variant of the QCS1250 steps up to HDMI 2.1 FRL and DisplayPort 2.1 UHBR20 on the rear — offering 4K@144Hz and 8K@60Hz capability unavailable on the 14th Gen Core configurations of the same machine. An optional rear expansion port slot can be populated with additional display outputs (second HDMI 2.1, second DP 2.1, or USB-C with DP Alt Mode), VGA, serial, or dual USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports. Front I/O includes 2x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, and a global headset jack. ⚠️ The PCIe x16 slot is half-height — standard full-height GPU cards will not fit. Discrete GPU options are limited to low-profile, single-slot cards within the 75W passive power envelope unless using the x16 slot’s auxiliary power connector where available.
