Design & Low-Profile Advantage

The Fury platform’s defining characteristic carries through to the 16GB variant unchanged: the module stands at just 34.1mm (1.3425″) with its heatsink fitted — the same low-profile dimension as the 8GB Fury. This makes it one of the most cooler-friendly 16GB CL16 gaming memory modules available, clearing the RAM overhang zone of virtually all large tower air coolers. The revised black aluminium heat spreader gives the module a clean, premium appearance without adding unnecessary height to the build.

Dual-Rank (2Rx8) Configuration

The HX432C16FB3/16 is a 2Rx8 dual-rank module based on sixteen 1G×8-bit FBGA components — eight chips per rank, two ranks per module, arranged on both sides of the PCB. This dual-rank topology is a genuine upgrade over single-rank 16GB alternatives, allowing the memory controller to interleave between ranks and keep one primed while the other is being accessed. The result is marginally improved effective memory bandwidth compared to a single-rank 16GB module at the same clock speed and timings — a meaningful benefit in workloads with high memory access parallelism.

Plug N Play & Dual XMP Profiles

XMP Profile 1 runs at DDR4-3200 CL16-18-18 at 1.35V. XMP Profile 2 provides a compatibility fallback at DDR4-3000 CL15-17-17 at 1.35V. The JEDEC SPD default is DDR4-2400 at 17-17-17 at 1.2V. HyperX Fury’s Plug N Play auto-overclocking is also supported at 2400MHz and 2666MHz on compatible platforms, providing a performance step-up even before XMP is manually enabled.

💡 XMP must be enabled for rated speed: This module defaults to DDR4-2400 at JEDEC. Enable XMP 2.0 Profile 1 in your BIOS to unlock DDR4-3200 at CL16-18-18. Profile 2 (DDR4-3000 CL15) is available as a fallback for platforms that struggle with Profile 1. Updating your BIOS before installation is recommended for best compatibility.

💡 AMD note: On AMD Ryzen platforms, the module boots at JEDEC default speed. XMP Profile 1 must be manually selected in BIOS to enable DDR4-3200 at CL16.

The HX432C16FB3/16 is compatible across mainstream Intel (Core 6th generation and later) and AMD Ryzen DDR4 platforms, covering AM4, LGA1200, and LGA1700 (where DDR4 is supported). Each 288-pin DIMM uses gold contact fingers for reliable electrical connection. Kingston backs this with 100% factory testing and a lifetime warranty. As a single 16GB stick it operates in single-channel mode; pairing with a second matching module enables 32GB dual-channel.

⚠️ Single stick = single channel: For dual-channel bandwidth, add a second HX432C16FB3/16 in your motherboard’s recommended paired DIMM slots. Refer to your board’s manual for the correct slot configuration.
