MSI GeForce RTX™ 5050 Ventus 2X OC (8GB GDDR6)
R6,635.00 inc. VAT
The MSI GeForce RTX 5050 Ventus 2X OC strips things back to the essentials — NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, 2,560 CUDA cores, and 8GB of GDDR6 in a clean, RGB-free 197 mm dual-fan package that slots into virtually any build. Boosting to 2617 MHz via MSI Center with TORX Fan 5.0 cooling and a vented backplate, it delivers full DLSS 4 and ray tracing support without the premium cooler tax. SFF-Ready for compact chassis, with no-fuss PCIe 5.0 compatibility.

Description
VENTUS: Performance Without the Extras
The VENTUS philosophy is to focus on the essentials — an efficient thermal solution in a resilient, neutral-aesthetic enclosure that integrates into any build without drawing attention to itself. There’s no RGB lighting, no elaborate shroud, and no software ecosystem beyond what’s necessary. What you do get is 2,560 CUDA cores on NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture, 8GB of GDDR6 at 20 Gbps across a 128-bit bus, boosting to 2602 MHz standard with 2617 MHz available via MSI Center’s Extreme Performance mode. Fourth-generation RT Cores, fifth-generation Tensor Cores, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, and NVIDIA Reflex 2 with Frame Warp are all present — the same Blackwell feature set as on pricier cards.
TORX Fan 5.0 Dual-Fan Cooling
The TORX Fan 5.0 design links fan blades with ring arcs at a 22-degree tilt, increasing airflow by 23% compared to conventional axial fans. A heat pipe draws thermal energy from the GPU die to the heatsink fins, and a reinforced backplate with a built-in ventilation slot allows exhaust air to pass directly through rather than recirculating. ZERO FROZR stops the fans completely under low loads for silent idle operation, with automatic spin-up when the GPU temperature rises under gaming load. The result is a compact, quiet cooler that handles the RTX 5050’s 130W TDP comfortably.
Compact and SFF-Ready
The card measures 197 × 120 × 41 mm in a 2-slot form factor, making it one of the more compact full-sized RTX 50-series options. It is SFF-Ready, meaning it has been validated for use in small form factor chassis where card length and slot clearance are constrained. No RGB means no additional headers or software to manage — a practical advantage in tight builds.
Power, Software, and Connectivity
Power draw sits at 130W via a single 8-pin PCIe connector, with a recommended PSU of 550W. MSI Center provides real-time monitoring and tuning, while MSI Afterburner gives full manual overclock control for those who want to push past the factory OC ceiling. Display outputs are 3× DisplayPort 2.1b and 1× HDMI 2.1b, supporting up to 4 simultaneous displays at a maximum of 7680×4320. The interface is PCIe Gen 5 x16, operating electrically at x8, and is fully backwards compatible with PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 motherboards.
⚠️ PCIe lane note: This card uses a PCIe Gen 5 x16 slot but operates electrically at x8. Fully compatible with PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 boards — confirm your motherboard has a free x16-form slot.
⚠️ 8GB GDDR6 note: The 128-bit bus and 8GB VRAM make this a strong 1080p card. In the most texture-heavy AAA titles at maximum settings, VRAM pressure can be a factor — medium-high texture settings will deliver the smoothest experience.
⚠️ External power required: A single 8-pin PCIe power connector is required. Ensure your PSU has a free 8-pin cable and meets the 550W recommendation.
