The USW-Flex-Mini is designed for maximum deployment flexibility — it can be powered via 802.3af/at PoE from a compatible UniFi switch or PoE injector, or via the included 5V USB-C adapter from any USB power source. This means managed Gigabit switching at the desk, behind a TV, near an access point, or anywhere else a single cable run needs to become multiple wired connections.

Full UniFi Ecosystem Management

Configuration, monitoring, and firmware updates are handled centrally through the UniFi Network application (version 5.12.5 or higher) alongside all other UniFi devices in your network — switches, access points, gateways, and cameras. This provides a consistent and unified management experience across your entire infrastructure with no additional software cost.

Capable Layer 2 Feature Set

Despite its compact size, the USW-Flex-Mini is a fully capable Layer 2 managed switch supporting up to 1,000 VLANs, port isolation, port mirroring, storm control, multicast and broadcast rate limiting, egress rate limiting, and flow control — features that are simply unavailable on unmanaged switches at any price.

Remarkably Efficient — Only 2.5W Maximum

The USW-Flex-Mini draws a maximum of just 2.5W, producing minimal heat and running completely fanless and silent. At 150g and 107 × 70 × 21mm, it disappears into almost any installation.

⚠️ Important Notes:

• The USW-Flex-Mini does not provide PoE output to connected devices — it is PoE-powered, not PoE-providing.
• Full managed features require a UniFi Network Controller (self-hosted, UniFi Cloud Gateway, or UniFi Cloud). The switch will function as a basic unmanaged switch without a controller.
• USB-C adapter included only with single-unit purchases — multi-packs do not include adapters.
